Nohemi

My name is Nohemi Terrades.

This began with the knowledge of and a passion for pedagogy. As a small child, the Montessori Method was instilled into me by my father, Francisco Terrades, a child psychiatrist/psychologist and one of the fathers of child psychiatry in Murcia, my hometown.

I moved to Granada over 20 years ago and began working in a bank although my passion for pedagogy has always been with me. This project is the best homage I can pay to my father, who from a very young age started working with children in the field of psychiatry and psychology, with results that are now patent in the many children that he treated during his long professional life, and who now lead a totally normal life, thanks to him.

I am also very involved in the problems of accessibility  and the rights of disabled people and I would like Toy Box to be a centre where any child is able to develop in an atmosphere of equality and comradeship and where no disability should be a limit to the normal development of a child.
